Dear Reader,April 8th marks the three-year anniversary of when I was first told about a secret code of the Knights Templar on the Camino de Santiago. This code inspired me to write The Way: Through a Field of Stars. As I walked the Camino, the story for this novel played like a movie in my head. The things I saw, the people I met, and the experiences I had all wove together into a perfect narrative. I feel I was given something very special, and I want to share it with the world. My aspiration is to make The Way: Through a Field of Stars a New York Times Best Seller. It is my passion to inspire millions of people to take their own adventure along the Camino de Santiago. Week 2: Inspiration for the novel

Thank you for your continued support ofThe Way: Through a Field of Stars. (Newsletter 2, March 2, 2020)  A note from the author,  I was inspired to write The Way: Through a Field of Stars at Castrojeriz (Spain). When first I saw the city, I thought, My God, someone has to write a book about this place! Little did I know I was going to be that someone. Stepping into Castrojerez took me to a different time and place. There were echos of the Knights Templar running through the entire city. In the evening at the Albergue (Pilgrims Shelter), the Hospitalero told me that there used to be five Templar commanderies in the city and that the entire hill was hallowed out with tunnels that stored the Templars treasure.
